Where the journey and adventure begins!

About Renmark

Renmark, located on the Murray River, is a prosperous town in the heart of rich Riverland area where limes, olives, apricots, grapes, plums, garlic and oranges are all grown. Like so many towns in the area Renmark is characterised by wide streets and handsome riverbank parklands. This is a town where it is possible to enjoy the majesty of the Murray by hiring a bicycle and cycling along the riverbank; hiring a canoe or kayak and paddling along the river; or visiting the historic boats – the PS Industry and Argo Barge – moored at the river’s edge (sourced from the Aussie Towns website – click for more).

Organised Activities

The Tagalong23 organising team have organised a couple of things for the group to enjoy while we are in Renmark.

Welcoming Dinner

A local catering company called Salt & Pepper Catering have been engaged to cook up a bar-b-q dinner for us in the caravan park’s camp kitchen on the Saturday night (2nd September).

This will be our “welcoming dinner” where old friends will get together again and welcome new friends into the group.

We looked at a cruise on the Murray, but the paddle steamer cannot accommodate the size of our group.

Our investigations led us to Salt & Pepper Catering, as they have a fantastic menu and all reviews we read were excellent. Besides, you won’t have to drive 😁

PLEASE NOTE: The cost of the dinner is included in your Tagalong fees. We need to be advised if there are any food allergies or food specific requirements (e.g. Celiac, vegetarian, vegan etc)

23rd Street Distillery and Tasting

PLEASE NOTEInvites were sent to Tagalong members in June and bookings have been made from those who advised they wish to do the tour. Please contact one of the Tagalong Admin Team if anything changes!

Join them for a step back in time through the century old site. Learn about the art of distillation through Customs House, the Still Tower and Barrel Warehouse.

Approximate duration: 30 mins for the Distillery Tour and approx 20 mins for the Gin Tasting

The Soul Tasting includes the perfect tasting flight for gin lovers served with Tonic Water…
